Talk about a neighborhood family with HUGE hearts. The brewers have four of their 5 children at home. Despite how busy it is in their home, they constantly give to family AND neighbors near and far. They mentor and set firm standards for their children and their children's friends. With the Brewers they know there's no cursing, no saggin, no hats inside, good sportsmanship, good eatin and clean fun! They take neighborhood kids to church and outings. whether you are family, friend or neighbors, they help take care of elderly, youth, the sick and the distraught. They give money, cook, give food, loan their car, took people into their home! They are an excellent example of Godliness and stability. Despite fighting major personal and medical issues, they Praise and believe God for victory while they continue to give! The Brewers are awesome people with big open hearts!

Hello, my name is Sheandra and I am a second grade teacher. Recently when the earthquake struck to island of Haiti, people were left with nothing. My student's had been watching all of this unfold on television with their parents and we talked about the tragedy in class. I prayed and I wanted to do something to show the children of Haiti that others were truly thinking about them. I wrote a song/rap entitled "You can make a difference: A song for the children of Haiti". My class performed the song and it has taken off in our school! The children even made a CD! The CDs are $5.00 and ALL of the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF to help the children of Haiti. Because I am an advocate for education and with the support of my building principal, the proceeds can be used to support the education of the young people of that country. My students and I are so fortunate and blessed to help those that cannot help themselves. The help that the students in my class have provided could not be found in a text book; instead it is simply a part of the human spirit!
